SPS and Power Control System

The overall SPS-Control will be carried out completely with Siemens SPS-1500, programmed in Siemens TIA-Portal. The communication is carried out via Industrial Network to all individual components of the line, e.g. pay-offs, take-ups, capstans, extruders, other sub systems (measuring, heating, dosing etc).

The power control of the extruder with Siemens heating system will be placed in a switch cabinet directly at the extruder frame. Only the power control unit of the Siemens motor is still place in the main switch panel.

Visualisation

The visualisation is a new intuitiv State-Of-The-Art HTML5 basis with many advantages for the future. In stadard we are using a 24“ SIEMENS Pro-Panel with one extension unit on lower site, executed with main function keys. The panel is palced at a hanging arm with swiveling mode beside the Extruder.

While line is running, according to user level (e.g. production manager and management board) can a have a look into line control at any place inside the company (also with mobile devices), if the used device is also integareted in same network as the line is. A change and exchange of recipes from office is possible easily.

Main advantages of HTML5

Up to 4 connections at the same time (as standard)
Each connection with its own session instance. i.e. different images possible
High flexibility, own widgets, functions or connection to third-party software via standard interface (JSON) possible

Full responsive design. i.e. automatic adjustment to the available display size
Only a web browser is required on the display device
